Content Marketing challenge #1: Keeping Quality Consistently High

The Internet is littered with content. There is a seemingly endless supply of information on any subject imaginable, and new content is added every minute. Regardless of your niche, there is an entire planet’s worth of content out there.

With so much content out there, it’s possible to get lost in the shuffle, especially if you don’t produce consistently high-quality content. Before you publish your next piece of content, ask yourself two questions:

Does my content add value to the lives of my readers?

Is it worth sharing?

If you can answer yes to both questions, you’re probably doing all right. If not, you need to rethink your approach.

How to Overcome It

There are a lot of ways to think about quality content.

Focus on what your readers care about . What can you teach them? What will help them? If you can’t answer these questions, it’s time to do some more research. Put yourself in your readers’ shoes. Would you find this content valuable? Would you want to share it with your friends? If not, fix it.

Write for people, not keywords. Stop trying to game search engines and put your keyword research out of your mind entirely. Focus on your readers and write the best, most relevant content you can.
